When it came, more than half the dishes were barely even warm. But alas, 1. The dessert was delicious but a very small portion. Great view on the deck. We had pizzas which were fine. We are suckers for bite sized items and these all fit the bill. The chicken mole taco and the dirty fries were the best things that arrived. The dessert was a pudding cake with a small bit of ice creme. So much heat and flavour it made every bite exciting! He did seat us which was good. There were 9 dinners on our bill! The website should have shown that only the pub would be open, then I may have reconsidered this venue. Just not impressed. Really enjoyed Match Burger. It took about an hour to get our food. I booked at Match Eatery, because it's a great place to meet someone for the first time. Couldn't find the feta in the salad and the chicken had the fattest skin on it. Not a great idea with little ones in tow. Good selection of beers and cocktails. Eventually we got 2 meals comp'd. Will not be returning. My main course was a decent size, with Salmon, beets, green beans and nuts on top of the salmon. Worst steak sandwich I have ever had. We went for mothers day , it was busy but the food took almost an hour. When the server returned with replacements, they too were cold. Across the highway is the Sound, which is partially obscured by trees; and more glacier covered peaks beyond that. Pub menu during the UFC. Drink specials were also great. Food was terrible. I said well I booked on line. The salmon was maybe a tad over done, but still tasted good. Great outdoor dining with the fires and heated with TVs and the Chief right in front of you. When we said no he put it on us to say what we wanted which frankly is lame. Oh man come on. Pastries were always gone and not topped up. So really there was not a lot that could go wrong with only 6 different fairly basic brunch items to cook up in the kitchen. Nobody took responsibility. Ended up leaving because we were warned it would be over an hour for food. Utterly beautiful locale. The server was slow to bring us our drink's. The VIEW is incredible - the sheer cliff across the street where serious climbers scale the wall is awe inspiring. The pub with all the loud TVs isn't where I was expecting to be able to get to know someone on a first date. He told us most of the bill was drinks. Unfortunately we had to wait 1. The prices were very fair but unfortunately this did not make up for the wait, particularly on Mothers Day which is a special occasion for a Mother who should not have to wait. Food finally came after 45 minutes, a full hour after entering the restaurant. But more choices would of been better for the price. It is located in the Casino on the main road to Whistler. And the view is really pretty! The food is good, not great - brunch selection included a couple of different benedicts, including a smoked salmon bennie the hollandaise was very liquid and runny ; also one of the few places in Vancouver where I found french onion soup that was pretty decent. I felt that the food was over priced and poor quality. We were on vacation and Match was recommended by locals. Also the restrooms were dirty and out of toweling. We were initially told it would be a 50 minute wait which was about twice as long as we wanted to wait. The fish taco was good - I just preferred the combination of the chicken season and pico more than the fish and its pico. Service was also pretty great - our server was very attentive to how busy the restaurant was. No effort was made to remedy the experience on the bill so we complained to which the manager offered to cover 2 portions of fries! We checked in at Mountain Retreat and then drove to the Restaurant as we had reservations for pm through Open Table only to find out that they closed at pm and our reservation was a system glitch!!! Usually food is satisfactory. Different cook - all good! Service and ambience was fabulous though. Should of been out the entire time. Bacon and hash browns yum. Waited to be noticed at least 8 minutes. Great outdoor patio upstairs was the only area open Saturday morning, so I can't rate the inside scene with fireplaces and warming lamps when it's cold, patio furniture seating for casual drinks as well as tables and bar tables for eating. Our order got a bit mixed-up and we were roasting under the heat lamps, but our waitress was super apologetic and even voluntarily discounted our bill. They were completely out of craft beers at a pub? I saw that there was a 3 course special for a promotion for Dine in Vancouver. Not happy with your service at all. It could have been an off night but we were less than impressed. My hubby got the honky tonk chicken slider and that was also good. You will NOT be cold on their deck! I don't feel they had enough staff on , nor are they capable of handling a full busy restaurant. Buffet was good but not many options. He said oh open table. Plus French toast was served. We went for brunch and the food was great. The fruit was nice. That would of been nice. Then when was full noticed sausage and ham was out. We traveled from North Vancouver to have a Christmas night dinner. Had we not paid the hotel we would have left Squamish.

We went not knowing it was happy hour so we ordered primarily off squamish casino match happy hour menu. What about just regular toast. Thank you. Once seated took at least 10 minutes before server came along.

Fantastic gem on the drive up to Whistler! The fish itself was great! I started with a beet salad which was very good.

For some reason our GPS took us further squamish casino match the road but we came back and their address is the same as we had in our GPS.

Ended up stranded on a Christmas night. I was grateful that they made me a egg white omelette. Get drinks and enjoy watching the climbers. The menu was only approx 6 items, lunch menu was not available until 2pm. Overall, this will be a place I stop every time I drive up to Whistler or the great hiking around Squamish. I booked a table on Mother's Day, very busy place but table was ready for us when a server eventually came over to us. Such a shame because that could be a great spot to eat! Sadly though, when I arrived, as sign was blocking the upstairs saying that it was closed for a private function. Scrambled eggs or omelet.
